Mark J. Brandenburg grew up in Mansfield, Texas, with a passion for reading, American history, and football. After graduating from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, he was sworn in as a police officer for the Olathe Police Department, where he served for five years. For the past twenty years, Mark has served as a special agent for the US Secret Service with numerous assignments, including the protection of the president of the United States.
